Basic music theory online lessons with a Grade 6 theory-learning piano diploma student!
Methodology
My method of teaching is according to the grades or levels of each student, make improvments by leading them to have an in-depth understanding to the piece they are working on. It could be the rhythm, phrasing or even the music era. For music theory, I like my students to have a firmer grip on the basic knowledge like time signature, accidentals, key signature and so on, to have more directions on music theory.
Experience
I am a piano student who learnt piano for 12 years and still ongoing! Now I'm preparing my diploma ATCL programme from Trinity where I am still waiting for results of my ABRSM piano performance Grade 8 virtual exam which I just carried out recently. I have passed my Grade 5 ABRSM theory exam with high distinction and still working on my Grade 6 ABRSM music theory. As aformentioned details, I would like to give out my tiny knowledge of piano playing and music theory to people who need out there so that everyone has a chance to learn music!
