About Rachael

I am an experienced Geography Tutor having worked on online platforms for the last 7 years and in person for two years. I graduated from the University of Exeter with a 1st Class Geography degree where I focussed on Earth System Science, Climate Change and Society, Biogeography and Glaciology. In addition to my Geography degree, I have many years of experience working in academia and the geographical/science communication sector. When I'm not working, I'm busy exploring wild spaces around the world, usually from a mountain top. I am ready to enthuse my students and ignite a passion for the world around them through engaging lessons and exam practice that bring Geography to life.

About the lesson

With 7 years of experience delivering engaging and tailored Geography lessons online, I am suitably experienced in tutoring Geography at secondary level, with specific expertise in Geography GCSE. I graduated from the University of Exeter with a 1st Class Honours BSc Geography degree with Spanish and Professional Placement where I have developed my expertise in a wide range of applicable geographical skills. Passionate about the world around me, I strive to create materials and lessons that intrigue and inspire my tutees to apply what they have learnt to their individual situation. I utilise a variety of progress testing techniques and exam preparation tools to ensure my tutees receive effective tutoring.
