I gained my degree in Acting and Drama (hons) at UCW Aberystwyth, Postgraduate Certificate in Acting at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts(ALRA), and the Certificate and Diploma in Life Coaching with Newcastle College.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

I have worked with a charity, leading a course in Personal Development with a group of 6-12 adult students, one to one coaching in schools for year 9 and 10 pupils for a youth charity, personal tutoring for GCSE English Literature and Language and A level English Language and Literature and Drama. About the lesson

I am a dynamic tutor and coach with 20 years experience and a passion for the subjects I teach. My approach to tutoring and coaching is student centred and includes building confidence and self esteem.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I am an experienced tutor of English to KS3, GCSE and A level. I am a working actress (under my stage name of Carol Robb), and I teach Drama to Degree level and acting for Drama School entry. I am also a qualified Life Coach, Personal Development tutor and coach and experienced Acting Coach.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

BA Drama (hons), Post Grad Diploma in Acting, Certificate and Diploma in Life Coaching

- How much do you charge?

I charge £40/£45 per hour for non professionals and £50 for professional coaching. I charge travel expenses for tutoring at a student's home.

- Where do you teach?

I can teach in Stoke Newington and surrounding North London areas. I can also tutor online after an initial face to face meeting and discussion, or at the student's home. I can travel to most areas of North, Central and East London in the UK

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach a range of ages from 10 years old to adult. I teach and coach students of all abilities including beginners, those looking for help with a hobby and professionals.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I prepare my students for a range of subjects including English and Drama at KS3, GCSE and A level. I offer Coaching for Drama School Entry, Coaching for Auditions and Script Coaching for Professional Actors plus confidence building and presentation skills for Public Speaking. I also teach creative writing and adult literacy.
As a qualified and experienced Life Coach I work one to one with individuals and with groups of adults and young people to build confidence, self esteem and personal development..

After an initial meeting I can tutor online by email or by Skype

Anything is possible with a positive attitude and a fun approach-learning is part of our everyday lives and can be exciting, challenging and rewarding

She knows the texts and exam specifications (I took WJEC). For AS course work I moved from a D to a B+. In my A2 exam I achieved a B and am now at university. I am incredibly happy with my improvement and I would highly recommend Carol to any A level students.
