About Tavisha
My interest in chemistry started when I became curious about how everyday substances react and change around us. This curiosity led me to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, where I developed a strong understanding of chemical concepts and reactions. Over the past 8 years, I have helped students learn chemistry in a simple and structured way, making complex topics easier to understand and apply confidently.
I believe that clear explanation and regular practice are important for mastering chemistry. Beginners are guided with simple examples and basic concepts to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners improve through structured exercises and deeper understanding of reactions. Advanced students focus on detailed topics, problem-solving, and application-based learning that strengthens their skills. I always adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and needs.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new ideas in chemistry and understanding how science is applied in everyday life. I bring these insights into my lessons to make learning more practical and engaging. Watching students improve their understanding and confidence is very rewarding. My goal is to help students build strong knowledge, clear thinking, and confidence in chemistry.

Chemistry becomes much easier when students understand the logic behind reactions instead of memorizing them. My lessons focus on basic concepts such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and introductory organic chemistry. Beginners start with simple ideas like elements, compounds, and basic reactions to build a strong base. Intermediate learners move on to balancing equations, reaction types, and understanding how substances behave in different conditions. Advanced students focus on complex reactions, mechanisms, and application-based problem solving that improves their clarity and confidence.
I teach using a simple and step-by-step approach so students can clearly follow each concept. Lessons include diagrams, examples, and practice questions that help students apply their knowledge effectively. I adjust the pace based on the student’s understanding and make sure each concept is clear before moving forward. Students are encouraged to ask questions and think logically about how chemical processes work in real life.
Chemistry lessons help students improve accuracy, logical thinking, and understanding of scientific concepts. Students learn how to approach equations, analyze reactions, and apply concepts in exams and real-life situations. Over time, they become more confident and comfortable with chemistry topics. My goal is to make chemistry simple, structured, and interesting so students can learn with clarity and confidence.
