About Bryn

I have previously tutored a GCSE student on a weekly basis leading up to her exams. She had chosen to do Foundation tier as she struggled with mathematics and a pass was her priority to get into college. She achieved a grade 4 overall in her exams (a pass) meaning she got into her first choice sixth form college.

I am an Undergraduate studying Computer Science at the University of Birmingham with A levels in Mathematics, Computer Science and Economics. I am looking to give maths tutoring to secondary school pupils up to GCSE level. My teaching style involves example solutions followed by practice exam-style questions, as I believe this is the best method to gain a confident understanding with mathematics as this worked for myself at GCSE/A-level and with past experience of tutoring mathematics. My aim as a tutor will be to keep the tutee engaged while moving at steady yet effective pace.
