About Chris

I left teaching a few years ago after 30 years in the classroom. I worked in industry for a few years before teaching English to adults. I now tutor full time. When not working my hobbies include cycling and walking. I also volunteer for a local wildlife charity. I enjoy learning and using other languages. I enjoy tutoring because I can help learners reach their goals in education.

About the lesson

I am very much student focused. As I get to know the student I tailor my teaching to suit their strengths. I provide resources via email and use Skype or similar to talk through the topics with the student. I give the student plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and repeatedly check the student is understanding the content.
