Generally, I would say I approach each student individually depending on their particular level of understanding of the subject. It is important to realize that not everyone grasps any given topic at the same rate, and to recognize and accept this fact. After understanding how quick you can catch up with a topic, my teaching method and rate would vary to match up. This is important so my student does see a difference between their teacher and their private tutor, because there would be no point of the latter otherwise.
I am a graduated mechanical engineer. This would be my first time professionally tutoring students, but I do believe I would prove to be a good private tutor, since I have some amateur experience in this. I do have a strong foundation in mathematics, which I've seen quite a few students seem to struggle with, especially if the teacher goes too fast for their comfort. If its private tutoring you need in high school or university mathematics, do not hesitate to contact me!
