About Garth
About me
I have been teaching English for about four years. I've taught students in Melbourne, Australia, Hanoi, Vietnam, and in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Now I am teaching professionals online who are working in English speaking countries. I have students based in the USA, working for Amazon, as well as Australian-based students working for international companies.
My specialty lies in teaching Business English, Academic English, IELTS preparation, Cambridge exam preparation, and honing reading and writing skills, alongside developing my students' conversational skills.

- Speaking fluency: coaching to help you speak more confidently and naturally
While I do offer face-to-face classes in regular circumstances, I am now exclusively teaching online due to physical-distancing restrictions imposed by the pandemic. I am able to offer one-on-one tutoring and also encourage English learners to think about taking group classes as I believe this it the most effective way to practice interactive communication skills.
I am able to assist you with specific skills which you can use in professional contexts, such as workshops to give presentations, and training to help you improve business communication. I am happy to tailor your language learning program to meet your needs. I can provide you with an English Assessment to determine your English level, and make a plan with you to help you achieve specific language goals.
