About the lesson

I am a pretty laid-back tutor. Students have a certain level of autonomy in determining what and how they learn, and I prepare my lesson plans according to the student's learning styles, especially for one-to-one classes. Application of learning and articulation and the repetition of these are essential in language learning, so expect a lot of them in my classes!

Pastoral care is also very important to me because the degree of care that I devote to my students has a considerable impact on their performance.

A typical English class with me takes about 1 - 1.5 hours, depending on your need.

I taught at university for 11 years, and during my tenure, students, colleagues, and superiors alike had always graded me highly in teaching engagement.

My classes are open to all, from pre-schoolers to golden-agers, as long as you have the interest to learn.

About Madelyn

I am a teacher, and I have been one since even before I graduated from university. Language learning is my passion. I realized that when I managed to score top grades for all my language subjects but fell short for every other subject in all the major exams I had taken. I hope I can inspire in you the same passion for mastering the English language in my classes.
