About Talon
My interest in Excel started when I realized how organized data can make work easier and more efficient. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology before earning a Master’s Degree in Data Science. During the past 6 years, I have helped learners develop practical spreadsheet skills.
I believe technology should be simple and accessible for everyone. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, step-by-step learning, and adapting lessons to suit different experience levels. Helping students build confidence is always one of my main priorities.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new digital tools and modern methods of data organization. Staying updated allows me to introduce useful ideas into my classes. Seeing students become more confident with spreadsheets makes my work truly rewarding.

I teach Excel by showing students how simple tools can solve everyday problems. Lessons include formulas, functions, tables, charts, sorting, filtering, and data formatting through practical examples that are easy to understand. My goal is to help learners work with confidence instead of feeling overwhelmed by spreadsheets.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s background and objectives. Beginners focus on workbook basics and essential functions, while advanced students improve their skills with lookup formulas, conditional formatting, and data summaries. Hands-on activities help students remember and apply what they learn.
I encourage learners to understand the purpose behind every feature rather than simply following instructions. A supportive environment helps them become more independent and comfortable with technology. My aim is to help students use Excel effectively in both academic and professional settings.
