About the lesson

I’m a French tutor with over 9 years of experience and a PhD in Quebecois Literature and Culture. I specialise in teaching children aged 8 to 14 using dramatic play, improvisation, and script reading. My lessons are lively, interactive, and full of imagination.

I focus on building foundational vocabulary, clear pronunciation, and simple grammar in ways that are joyful and memorable. Acting out scenes and taking on different characters helps students internalise language naturally. Every story, role, or scenario becomes a fun opportunity to practise speaking and listening.

I encourage creativity and self-expression, allowing students to explore their personalities while learning French. Mistakes are part of the journey, and I guide students to turn them into learning moments. Performance-based learning also helps with confidence, empathy, and character development.
