I am a friendly 23 year old recent Masters student in International Development - achieving a Distinction. I am happy to give lessons to secondary school, A Level and undergraduates in Politics and/or international relations. I can also provide written English lessons to all ages and abilities, including individuals who don't speak English as their first language.
My methods of instruction will be to identify areas that need improvement based on your previous work, working through new tasks together and helping to increase your confidence overall. I can be very flexible depending on your needs.
I achieved a Distinction in my Masters degree in International Development, including a 78 in my research dissertation. I also achieved a First Class honours in my Politics and International Relations degree, an 80 in my undergraduate dissertation and had an article published in the No. 1 International Feminist Journal of Politics. I also achieved an A* in English Literature, A in History and B in Philosophy A Level. I was awarded a place on a trip to the United Nations based on my written skills, and have been published on the Global Policy Journal. I have worked with children in education the developing context of Uganda but am new to teaching. I'm a calm, friendly and supportive teacher.
