About Elise
I earned a Master’s Degree in French Language Education and Cultural Studies after developing a strong interest in communication, international cultures, and language learning during my academic journey. During the past 7 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve their French through supportive instruction and practical teaching methods. Teaching French allows me to combine creativity, mentorship, and cultural exchange in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners express themselves naturally and confidently in another language.
My teaching style focuses on patience, adaptability, and communication-centred learning. Some students improve best through grammar-focused exercises and structured repetition, while others respond more naturally to conversation and interactive speaking activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, personality, and communication goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and conversational confidence. Building a welcoming and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring world cinema, and continuing language research through travel and international media. These experiences help me bring practical examples and fresh ideas into lessons regularly. I believe language learning creates opportunities for confidence, cultural understanding, and personal growth. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students communicate naturally in situations that once felt unfamiliar or difficult.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate naturally while building strong language foundations through practical and engaging learning methods. I teach pronunciation, grammar structure, vocabulary building, sentence formation, listening comprehension, and conversational fluency using clear explanations that feel approachable for learners at every stage. Lessons also include storytelling exercises, roleplays, speaking activities, listening practice, and cultural discussions that help students understand how French is used in everyday life. I create a welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable participating openly and improving steadily without fear of mistakes. Every lesson supports communication skills, confidence, and long-term language growth together.
Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation basics, simple sentence structures, and everyday vocabulary through organised repetition and interactive activities that build confidence gradually. Intermediate learners improve conversational flow, grammar accuracy, listening ability, and response timing through guided discussions and practical communication exercises. Advanced students focus on natural fluency, smoother expression, and stronger communication skills for travel, academic, or professional situations. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, confidence level, and personal goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning French should feel enjoyable, useful, and meaningful. I encourage students to practise naturally during lessons instead of depending only on memorisation methods. Many learners become more expressive and comfortable communicating as their language abilities continue improving over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both practical fluency and confidence while appreciating the culture and beauty connected to the French language.
