About Addison
I earned a Master’s Degree in French Linguistics and Intercultural Studies after developing a strong passion for languages, international communication, and cultural exchange during my academic studies. During the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them improve their French through supportive instruction and practical communication methods. Teaching French allows me to combine creativity, mentorship, and language learning in a meaningful and rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners express themselves naturally and confidently in another language.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, adaptability, and communication-centered learning. Some students improve best through grammar-focused exercises and structured repetition, while others respond more naturally to conversation and interactive activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s personality, comfort level, and communication goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and conversational fluency. Creating a welcoming and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as an educator.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring international cinema, and continuing language learning research through travel and cultural studies. These experiences help me bring practical examples and fresh ideas into lessons regularly. I believe language learning creates opportunities for confidence, global connection, and personal growth. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students communicate naturally in situations that once felt unfamiliar or challenging.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate comfortably while building strong language foundations through practical and engaging learning methods. I teach pronunciation, sentence building, grammar structure, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, and conversational fluency using explanations that feel simple and approachable for learners at every level. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation basics, everyday vocabulary, and simple sentence structures through organized repetition and interactive exercises that build confidence gradually. Intermediate learners strengthen conversational flow, listening accuracy, response timing, and grammar understanding through practical communication activities and guided discussions. Advanced students focus on natural expression, fluent speaking, and stronger communication skills for academic, travel, or professional situations. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, confidence level, and personal goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning French should feel enjoyable, meaningful, and useful. I encourage students to practice naturally during lessons instead of relying only on memorization techniques. Many learners become more expressive and confident communicators as their language abilities continue improving over time. My goal is to help students build strong communication skills while appreciating the culture and beauty connected to the French language.
