About James

I have no prior experience tutoring as yet, but I am young, enthusiastic and looking to get started and get stuck in! I would add, however, that I have had many real-life encounters related to psychology. For instance I have multiple relatives with depression and anxiety disorders whom I support on a regular basis. I believe I can add useful insight by drawing upon these experiences when tutoring such topics to students.

Hi, I'm James (22). I am a recent graduate of the University of Southampton with a 2:1 in Psychology & Education (joint hons), having completed my dissertation in the field of behavioral psychology. I tutor GCSE, AS and A level psychology and am familiar with the Edexcel and AQA syllabuses (only feels like yesterday I was doing the AQA course myself!) I have a wide range of resources I can draw upon to help teach my clients and my background in education (as well as psychology) means I am well versed in techniques and teaching styles to get the most out of students. I take a methodical, friendly approach to tutoring and it's my aim to get the best out of my students with a focus to tackle what they are struggling with head on.

Other qualifications I possess include psychology AS and A levels as well as an extended project qualification diploma in the field of psychology.
