Great with kids! Been teaching music since I was 16! Very experienced teacher with a deep understanding in music and how to develop a child's interest in it.
Methodology
The first step is to inspire interest in a student. Without interest, there is no motivation to put in the work that is required to be good. Having the experience of working with kids from age 6 to 18, I understand the different strategies there are to approach your child with. The class will be divided into theory and practical work and both areas will be meticulously trained according to the ABRSM syllabus. I can speak in English and Mandarin.
Experience
I started learning piano and violin at 6 years of age. When I finished my diploma in both instruments, I started teaching music at 16. I have thought in Yamaha for a few years but am now a private tutor. I have performed in MPO, KLPAC and many charity events. My students all fair very well in their exams because of one simple fact, my mother is Lee Ching Ching. She is one of only 3 Malaysians allowed to be the examiner in the ABRSM syllabus, and you can find her music books (40 titles) in any music store you visit. Her experience and depth in music is my inspiration and much of her knowledge has been passed down to me.

Details
The rates and lesson time vary based on Grade. Distance I need to travel starts at rm50 for 4 lessons. If your housing area exceeds 10km from Ara Damansara, there will be additional cost.
