- Where do you teach?

I can teach at home as well as in students' homes. I am based in North London but can also travel to East, West, Central and parts of South London. Currently, I also teach in schools and community centres doing workshops, individual and group lessons. I am also available to teach in Aberdeen on a less regular basis

- When are you available?

I am available any time in the week. Evenings, however, will be less available as I frequently perform in the evenings/night time as well as occasional weekend afternoons. I am not limited by school holidays. Lessons in Aberdeen would be available on a less regular basis, longer lessons on a monthly basis or every two months.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach saxophone, jazz/improvisation and electronics at all levels, ages and abilities.
I teach Theory up ABRSM Grade 5 level, and Jazz Theory to advanced level.
I teach Piano, Flute and Clarinet for beginners and casual learners.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

ABRSM grades
College/University Auditions

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I can tutor in rare cases through Skype, although I would first make arrangements for lessons to happen in person.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

My primary aim when teaching students is for them to have fun. I would urge them to play music they enjoy, perform and write music with friends and above all be fearless in trying new things out! Goals are important but grades and exams may not be the best option for everyone, perhaps getting into a band, writing a tune or playing with someone new can be goals too? As well as practising hard, listening to music is important and can be an exciting way of learning and discovering new things in music. Go and enjoy and discover music with friends as well as yourself, and have fun.
