My teaching approach includes deconstructing and understanding the problems at hand, making sure students know what is being asked of them, and then working with them to solve it. I also like to include different resources such as textbooks and research papers to reframe the problem in a different way.
I am a graduate student in mathematics and have tutored before, mostly in individual lessons and in study rooms. My goal is to help students both understand the problem and the related mathematics behind it as well as grow to approach math without any hesitation.

-The Ohio State University (Bachelor of Science, mathematics)
-Studied nonlinear dynamics and biomathematics to create a mathematical model
for data collected from cystic brosis transmembrane conductance regulator
(CFTR) responses to patch-clamp experiments.
-Programmed a MatLab model of the electrochemical data from the CFTR stud-
ies in order to better understand the mechanisms behind the channels' fatally
Service and Activities:
Helped coordinate a chemistry investigation for elementary school students in the Breakfast of Science Champions program.
-Participation in the Directed Reading Program in Mathematics Autumn
-Presenter at Grandview Heights Public Library and configured experiments for elementary school students' Science Night.
-Mentor in the Math Major Mentor Program
Served as a mentor and a resource for first-year mathematics majors, giving them advice and helping them navigate the university.
