I have been substitute teaching since 2006- K through 12th grade.

I have met and taught a great number of students.

I have been able to teach subject matter in small, simplified quanta. Untangling a complex topic and then segmenting it in a logical manner, makes comprehension of the topic vastly easier.

Hello, and thank you for taking a little time to get to know me. I hold a
Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, from University of California, at Santa Barbara.
The course material to receive a BS in Environmental Studies was very rigorous and spanned a great many math and science topics. Typically, a full year of course work was required, namely: Physics, Chemistry, Weather, Geology, Earth Science, Plant Biology, Animal Biology, Hydrology, Atmospheric Studies, Advanced Statistics (in three variables), to name just a portion. Having a good grasp of the topics has enabled me to simplify, and present subject matter in easy to comprehend segments.

Mastery of any topic can only be achieved when each brick of the foundation making up the topic are understood and completely mastered. Once you possess a solid foundation of the underlying subject matter, building beyond on top of a solid foundation is vastly easier and makes retaining the knowledge easier.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
