About Max

I have tutored and helped many students in my year whilst I was taking A Levels, especially in Maths and Physics. This was usually just helping with the odd question or two, however in the lead up to exams I would go through whole past papers - about one a week - with roughly 4 students.
Further to this, I have coached rugby teams and taught guitar to students one or two years below me, and occasionally helped them with AS or GCSE work as well.

I'm a Gap year student in Lincolnshire with 3 As at A level (Maths, Physics and Chemistry), 1 A at AS (Further Maths) and an A-grade equivalent EPQ. Further to this, I have 6 A*s and 6 As at GCSE, and an ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management.
When I'm tutoring I like to let you identify areas where you're struggling and then work through each topic by first explaining the basics and answering any questions you might have; then show a few example questions and work through them with you, before letting you attempt some past paper questions of different difficulty and going over your answers with you.
