About Mitsu

Hi! I'm Mitsu. I have taught English and Japanese at public schools and language schools in America, Canada and Japan across five years. I am a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada studying psychology and behavioral sciences. I'm so excited to share my experiences with the English language and culture and hearing from your own experiences. Let's learn this challenging and fulfilling language together and have fun!

About the lesson

My lessons emphasize interacting with the English language through learning about life in North America, its people, and its culture. Each lesson is adapted to individual students' levels and goals. A beginner learner looking to dip their feet into English can learn from playing educational language games. An advanced learner interested in living in North America can benefit from a conversation on current events and cultural comparisons. As a former language school student and teacher, I believe the core of learning a new language is the sharing of experiences engaging with a culture.
