About Michelle

I was born in the USA but have lived most of my life in the UK. I speak English, the Queen's English, American English, and AAVE (African-American Vernacular English), and I think it had been useful for me to understand them all, especially when it comes to using them in the right context.
I have been helping foreign student with their conversational English since I was in high school, so that's over 4 years now. I still keep in contact with exchange students and help them with their English ever now and again but I have never done it professionally.

As a visual and auditory learner myself, I know that young people learn better when learning relates to them. I love music and think that music is a universal. I believe that it can be used to bridge the barriers between two languages and that by a countries music, you can tell a lot about the counties culture.
Depending on your age and level of understanding, I can find suitable devices to improve your knowledge of English and help you become more confident in speaking English with others.
