Methodology
Need help with anything with regards to English?
Whether it be tutoring, help with English H/W, proofreading, I may be able to help you.
I prefer teaching individual/one-to-one classes rather than groups so that I can focus on one person and attend to them, but I am fine with groups too (the more the merrier, XD).
I prefer to give lessons on how to write but I also offer to proofread.
We can work on essay writing/test-prep, but I'd prefer it if I could get the previous tests and results so that I may have an idea of how my student stands with regards to their English skills and know what to work on.
Experience
I am a medical student. I did IGCSE in high school and I got A* for English as a first language. I did MUFY (Monash University Foundation Year) and scored a distinction for English.
I have helped many friends to proofread their work/writing/ essay-based assignments and even helped to edit their work (including paraphrasing) before they submit it. They are always happy with my work/help and some of them suggested that I should do it part-time, which is why I am here.
I will do my best to help you.
I also offer English lessons, and mostly prefer to coach individuals or groups with writing essays, be it creative writing, narrative or etc.
Rates
Details
The fee is negotiable for:
1. Essay-writing
a. Coaching you on how to write an essay or writing an essay together with you (specific topic)
/(usually the same as the hourly rate
C. Writing the essay for you
it depends on the wordcount, generally RM5 for 500 words + topic + research + paraphrasing +
referencing (I usually use APA/Vancouver).
2. Proofreading depends on word count, generally RM 5 for 1000 words.. and whether it is :
a. Simple proofreading (basic edits with regards to grammar, etc... )
b. Proofreading + Possible improvements (lots of editing )
i. direct edits
ii. edits are shown separately in another document (more expensive than directed edits)
3. Help with H/W is also negotiable (based on lvls) (elementary is cheaper than highschool + etc)
