About Nick

- What kind of experience do you have?

Being a Head of Drama and Theatre Studies at an independent college, I have comprehensive knowledge of the drama syllabus at GCSE and A Level. I have taught LAMDA Acting and Musical Theatre courses with a 100% pass rate; most students achieve Distinction and Merit. I have had plenty of professional performing and entertainment experience e.g. UK Shakespeare tours with The Lord Chamberlain's Men, Cambridge Shakespeare Festival, London Fringe, Off West End Musical Theatre, Children's Theatre, European Theatre, Pantomime to name a few.

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

Yes.

Past audition students have been successful in obtaining places at RADA, Central and Guildhall School of Acting.

In a world which is driven by digital communication, it is important NOT to lose sight of old fashioned face to face verbal communication and presentation. Speech and drama education is of the utmost importance and I can help achieve success.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I am able to offer excellent tuition in GCSE Drama and A Level Theatre Studies. I currently teach LAMDA examinations, and I can coach any age in vocal coaching, acting and audition technique.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I have a BA Hons degree from The University of Lincoln, I have a PGCE ( teaching qualification ) from The University of Buckingham and I am currently studying for a Licentiate in Speech and Drama Education from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. As well as this, I am a professionally trained actor, having studied at The London Centre for Theatre Studies.

- How much do you charge?

Fees for non exam based lessons (i.e. vocal training, general acting lessons) are £25.
Fees for exam based lessons i.e. (LAMDA, GCSE, A Level) are £30

- Where do you teach?

I am willing to travel within a 15 mile radius of MK41 for home teaching (an additional fee may be charged for longer travel). Alternatively students can opt to be taught at my own home.

- When are you available?

Mon - Fri 7pm - 9pm
Sat - Sun ANY
Bank Holidays/Half term/Holidays To be discussed.
