- Tell me about some of your current students.
My current students range from the age of 6 to the age of 50. Most of my students are interested in learning songs (repertoire) and vocal technique. I believe in learning mostly by ear although and through practical exercises "off the page".
Most of my language students are interested in correct pronunciation and being able to speak as fluently as possible, although some are preparing for exams that involve reading and writing.

Noemi was my vocal coach for a number of years. She exposed me to the genre of jazz and worked with me on vocal technique, rhythm, harmony, repertoire and style. She was very clear when explaining all these areas to me, tailoring her teaching to my needs as I am registered blind and could not read music. Thanks to Noemi’s teaching and determination I was awarded a place at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where I studied for four years. Graduating with a 2:1 in jazz performance. I continued my vocal coaching with Noemi during my degree even though I received vocal coaching as part of the course, I wanted to continue lessons with her as she told me so much.
She is an enthusiastic, creative, patient and inspiring teacher. Her passion and love for music is infectious, resulting in inspired students, such as myself, pursuing a musical career thanks to her mentoring.Noemi was my vocal coach for a number of years. She uses a pragmatic yet flexible approach to learning bundled with much enthusiasm and patience. I could not recommend Noemi more as a teacher, she is excellent at breaking down difficult concepts whilst bringing lessons to life through her clear passion for music, of which she is very good a passing on. A rare yet wonderful combo!
