My teaching methods differ based on how the student absorbs information. For English, I tend to explain my reasoning, either with different words or verbal visualization, etc. For piano, I tend to teach them my methods on how I used to start off in piano. I'm quite patient, and I don't get mad or frustrated easily because I understand the struggle myself.
Currently I am still a student in high school studying for UEC, but my English standard is quite high (as I'd like to think) and I've joined and won many writing competitions and have participated in many debate competitions. I am also currently ABRSM Grade 8 in piano, and have been teaching in a centre as a part time job.
Since I haven't gotten any ratings yet, I'd rather put my rates lower until I feel more confident then I'll raise the bar.
