About Zara

I started giving lessons as a favour to a few friends and they went very successfully. I enjoyed the experience and flexibility around my own work/studies and then went on to tutor in my part time around my university.

Previous students I have told me that they appreciate my approachable attitude and calm manner, as well as enhanced academic knowlegde and the ability to research and develop any unexpected issues that may come up in sessions. I can also offer general education advice and find that my pupils normally make speedy progress towards their goals, whatever they may be.

I am a recent Masters graduate in International Human Rights Law and I have previously studied English and Law as my Bachelors programme. I am able to teach both English (language analysis and literature) and legal subjects to GCSE/A-LEVEL standard.

I have been told that my proactive approach to teaching makes it enjoyable for my students. High standards are delivered and in return, results are expected. Although I have a certain style of handling sessions, I am open to working to the comforts/preference of each student to establish exactly what is required. Session times are flexible and rates are dependent on case by case analysis.
