I would definitely be employing the communicative learning approach, a mainly student-centered method of interaction gearing towards developing real-life communicative competency. It means actual listening, speaking, reading and writing with students. Each lesson has a specific learning objective, where some time will be spent on presenting the materials but most of the time will be for the student to practice and produce the speaking, listening and writing. I would be using the Oxford English for Cambridge Primary workbook.
I was formerly a loan processing officer in a local bank. Since then, I have been working on my own for the past couple of years. Prior to the pandemic, I had the opportunity to teach a children enrichment programme with a group of kindergarten students to foster creativity and focus which I enjoyed. Currently I have obtained the TEFL certificate, Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
