About Arden
I have 8 years of experience teaching programming, supported by a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Software Engineering. My journey started with a strong interest in coding and technology. Over time, I have helped many students learn programming and build confidence in their skills.
My teaching style is clear, structured, and practical. I focus on helping students understand concepts instead of memorising code. I use examples, exercises, and project-based learning to support their progress. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently so they can solve problems effectively.
Outside of teaching, I continue working on coding projects and learning new technologies. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because I see students grow from beginners to confident coders. Helping them build valuable skills for the future is deeply rewarding and fulfilling.

My programming lessons are designed to help students understand coding in a clear and simple way. I begin with basic concepts like variables, loops, and conditions so learners can understand how programmes work. I explain each concept step by step using simple examples that are easy to follow. Students also practise writing code during lessons so they can apply what they learn. This helps them build confidence and understanding from the beginning.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced topics like functions, object-oriented programming, and data structures. We work on small projects to develop practical skills and improve logical thinking. I also guide students in debugging errors and understanding how to fix them. This helps them become independent learners. Lessons are always adjusted based on the student’s level and pace so they can improve steadily without feeling overwhelmed.
My goal is to help students become confident in coding and problem solving. I support them in building strong foundations so they can learn advanced topics easily in the future. Over time, students begin to think logically and enjoy creating programmes on their own. I create a supportive environment where they feel encouraged to experiment, learn from mistakes, and grow with confidence and consistency.
