About the lesson
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Huston-Tillotson University, a private university in Austin, Tx, with a 3.8 GPA.
As a teacher, I believe in an eclectic methodology. I aim to adapt and change my teaching approach as each student's needs are different. I believe this methodology identifies and helps corrects my students' weaknesses while building their strengths.
My teaching techniques and lesson structure are fluid and flexible as I like to gage what works best depending on the student and their course. I believe in making sure the student remains in the "driver's seat" so they become comfortable and self-assured with the course lesson(s) even after the session is over. I care about each student's development and their grades and want to be apart of the process to improve both however I can.
- Form 6
I started giving Psychology lessons in 2013 while attending Huston-Tillotson University as a Psychology undergraduate. I worked with fellow HT students and UT students in different fields like Counseling, Theories, Social Psychology and Abnormal Psychology.
I also provided English and Psychology lessons to neighboring Austin high school students starting in 2014 while attending Huston-Tillotson University. I worked with them in general Psychology, sophomore English and junior English.
In total, I've taught almost 25 students in Psychology and 10 students in English. I was able to provide each student with the attention and care to improve their grades. Most of them were able to receive an A or B in their respective course with continued lessons and dedication.
