About Sazan

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have several years' experience teaching privately on a one-to-one and group basis. For the past 7 years, I have regularly coached and supported individuals preparing for Oxbridge and other university applications. I have excellent essay writing skills and have proof read several theses and papers for publication.

I have a great enthusiasm for teaching and am committed to making sure all my students reach their potential. I take great care to ensure that I plan my lessons and tailor my tutoring methods to the needs and learning style of each of my students.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach a range of GCSE subjects, as well as A/AS Level Politics, History and Biology. I am happy to coach students making university applications, in particular to Oxbridge and help with drafting personal statements. I have plenty of experience with essay & dissertation writing, so am happy both to proofread and help students struggling with this aspect of their studies.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I have a Bachelors degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and an MPhil in Islamic Philosophy from the University of Oxford. My A Levels were in Biology (A), History (A) and Politics (A) and I also have an AS Level in English Literature (A). I took 10 GCSEs in total, achieving 9 A*s and 1 A.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £25/hour for GCSE students and £30/hour for AS/A Level students, essay writing and proof reading.

- Where do you teach?

I am happy to teach at my home or at my student's home.

- When are you available?

I have a very flexible timetable, so most days and times should be fine.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I tutor Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level, from the age range of 13-18. I am also happy to tutor adults.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

Online tutoring over Skype can be arranged if required.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I am a very patient teacher and I hope to make learning fun for my students!
