University of Oxford student gives Earth Science, Geology and Geography lessons to students in Oxford

Methodology

I'm a 4th year student at Oxford University, and give lessons to students of a wide age range. I am a patient and adaptable tutor - if I see a student is struggling with a problem, I break it down into easy to understand and follow steps, and quickly change my supportive approach. I like to break a lesson down from overall aims to picking out the tricky parts of any problem or answer, and give hints as to how to give the best answer, and really make your work stand out.

Experience

I have just started on Superprof, however I have been tutoring online for the past year. I have also worked at a local primary and secondary school, both volunteering and teaching lessons in maths and science. I have predominantly taught years 3-4, which equated to around 60 students. I have had students improve both their numerical and verbal reasoning, especially for GCSE. The best results I have had have been to improve 2 student's GCSE Maths grade from a predicted D/C to an A overall. I also help out my fellow students, especially in the years below me.
