I do not have a specific teaching method because each class is planned out according to my students' need. For beginner to grade 4 students, I'll mainly use Suzuki books as my main teaching materials, with more technical studies alongside their main pieces.
Being a member of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO) since 2012 and the Asian Youth Orchestra in 2017, I have performed in many countries across the world including Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Czech republic, and the United States.
My recent achievements include appearing as a soloist with the UCSI University Orchestra, earning a seat as the concertmistress of MPYO, and winning a regional prize in the Osaka International Music Competition and the Patron Award in the Euroasia Strings Competition.
I started teaching 2 years ago and am experienced with students from 7 to 20 years old. (students of any age is welcome!) I'm also experienced in Orchestra and Chamber music so my teaching will help your children to develop into a more well rounded musician that are able to perform on his or her own, as well as collaborating with other like minded musician.
