Hola! My name is Laura de Armas and I am currently a student in Cardiff. I was born and raised in Spain by Spanish parents. I am looking to spread my knowledge about my beloved first language to those who are willing to learn it from the beginning or to improve their already gained knowledge.

My job involves helping kids, teens or adults to communicate and understand the Spanish language. I will encourage you to learn and practice vocabulary and assist you with your skills in listening, speaking, writing and reading Spanish. In the class we will use techniques such as dialogue, language games, literature, film, and other formal exercises for you to enjoy the process of learning this language. In order to do so, we first have to know which is our goal during the classes. If our goal has not got any special requirements on what is needed to learn, we will follow the dictations of the European Council, which suggests this levels of instruction:

a. Vocabulary (Personal presentation, house, services,...)
b. Communicational context (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
c. Intentions of the act of communication (socializing, give and obtain information, express personal feelings, give directions

Knowing all this, we will also polish the skills learned by understanding which is the best way to express something.
