When you go into any bookstores, you might remember looking at the book cover ‘Focus SPM’. That is one of the Pelangi Publication products. Focus SPM is a very comprehensive book that has all the topics taught in SPM subjects. Besides, they also include a few model papers at the end of the book, which are complete with answer sheets.
Besides, they also have SPM English Model and Sample Questions that are up to date.
SPM 2021 English Reference Source
Another reference source that you can look for besides Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah, KSSM, (National Curriculum) is to find MUET and IELTS books. Here are a few publications that you can look at.
- Oxford Fajar Publication
The CEFR level for MUET is almost similar to the SPM CEFR level. So, by referring to MUET Exercises, you can get more possible spot SPM questions that might come out on your SPM English test.

Where to Buy SPM English 2021 Books
Kinokuniya Malaysia
Kinokuniya has the widest range of books sold locally and internationally. You can find books from almost all countries in the world. So, it won’t be impossible for you to find various range of English references and exercise books here. Unfortunately, there is only 1 store available in Malaysia which is located at Kuala Lumpur City Centre, KLCC. Fret not, they have an online bookstore where you can browse their website and buy it online. Easy-peasy.
Compared to other bookstores, Kinokuniya is quite pricey, yet it has many types of books available. If you have a chance to visit KL, get down to KLCC and search for all the books you want there. So, you can find more books on the local curriculum as well as other curricula so that you can get more references for your final examination.
The price range in MPH Bookstore is above average. For me, MPH Bookstore is very convenient to go to plus their membership cards and debit card offers are very attractive.
