What makes a high distinction score different from a merit score? Any examination markers will tell you that it is essentially a continuous and consistent effort to achieve your targeted figure for the subject tested.

Behind the numbers of scoring Grade A and Grade B, the purpose of marking schemes, grading requirements and guidelines are to test your overall proficiency in the tested field of study.

Similarly, this same principle applies to you if you are a Form 6 student who is preparing for your STPM Malay Paper. What is different from your usual public examination like SPM is you will be sitting for different papers throughout three semesters. Your final grade is the cumulative weightage score for every semester.

Having said that, it is also important to know a comprehensive view of the STPM Malay subject. One way to kickstart is to study the marking scheme for all 3 semesters for your STPM Malay paper!
