About Anthony
This is Anthony here, AKA The English Doctor. I graduated from the University of Birmingham in the UK. After graduating, I worked in the UK for over 10 years. I started teaching English in Tawau in 2012. I taught in private tuition centres until I set up my own tuition centre, The English Doctor.
I like teaching English because I love the impact one can have on individual children, especially at Elementary level. It involves a lot of hard work, but I am rewarded with huge satisfaction in the end.
Many of my students failed consistently in their English classes previously, but since I started teaching them, they have gradually improved and passed with good results. I enjoy teaching and talking to children, listening to them, trying to understand their emotional world and being a good role model to them.
I teach small groups of students, classroom-based and 1-to-1 sessions. During the Covid pandemic, I started offering online classes too. The sessions run for 2 hours, 2 to 3 times a week.

How are you all? My name is Anthony, also known as The English Doctor. Here are the English tuition classes which I am offering at the moment.

The English Doctor welcomes students from primary schools, secondary schools and adult learners. All new learners will be given a placement test to determine their levels.
