My approach is simple: use what you already know and build from there. Many students get stuck collecting chords, licks, and theory without knowing how to actually play music with them. I help you break that cycle by focusing on sound, feel, and understanding — not just memorization.
Whether you're into jazz, blues, or want to add that soulful touch to your Bollywood covers, my classes show you how to make your playing expressive and musical.
Here’s what to expect:
We’ll start with what you already know — chords, shapes, songs — and learn how to make them sound better, feel better, and fit into real music.
I’ll teach you how to build phrasing, rhythm, and tone through real playing — not dry exercises.
You’ll learn classic jazz/blues grooves, comping, improvisation basics, and how to unlock the fretboard in a way that makes sense.
We might even rework Bollywood melodies into jazz/blues styles if that excites you — it’s about finding your sound.
Classes are typically structured in a relaxed but focused way — we begin with a quick review, dive into a specific topic (like comping, rhythm, or soloing), and end with a musical application, often over a backing track.
