About Petrina
I’m an artist and mentor with a background in visual communication, fine arts, and transpersonal art therapy. Over the years, I’ve worked across creative industries and guided others through business and fine arts mentoring. Teaching art is more than technique to me—it’s about helping people access an inner expression that hasn’t yet had space to emerge. What drives me is witnessing those moments when a student unlocks potential they didn’t know they had. It’s deeply inspiring to see someone connect with their creative self and begin to express their unique voice. In a world increasingly shaped by AI, I find joy in nurturing real, human creativity. The more artists we have in the world, the richer and more connected we become. My lessons support self-expression through traditional techniques, with space for play, exploration, and reflection. I teach all ages and experience levels because creativity lives in everyone—we just need the right space for it to grow.

I offer one-on-one, one-hour art lessons tailored for all ages and experience levels. My teaching begins with traditional techniques in drawing and painting, helping students build a strong foundation. As we progress, I guide students to unpack their work—exploring play, process, and personal expression—to uncover their unique artistic voice. My methods blend technical skills with intuitive exploration, fostering creativity and confidence. With a background in visual communication, transpersonal art therapy, and over 20 years’ experience in both business and fine arts mentoring, I bring a well-rounded, supportive approach to creative growth. Whether you're just beginning or returning to your practice, I create a space for authentic expression and meaningful artistic development.
