About Olivia
I bring over 7 years of violin teaching experience and a Bachelor of Science in Orchestral Studies as a former Violin Section Leader. I help students develop both technique and musical expression. Technology plays a big role in my lessons, including slow-down apps, DAWs, MIDI notation, and video feedback to refine playing. I specialize in recording violin parts for original songs and creative covers. Jazz Violin, Rock Strings, and Indie Folk are my favorite genres to explore with students. I encourage improvisation and create custom backing tracks for practice and performance. Lessons are interactive, fun, and tailored to individual goals. I focus on tone, phrasing, and musical storytelling. Whether preparing for recording, live performance, or composition, I guide students step by step. My approach blends traditional technique with modern tools to make learning exciting. I aim to help students unlock their creative potential and musical voice. Together, we explore improvisation, recording, and original music creation. Every lesson is a chance to grow and experiment with your sound.
