About Rosie Graham
When I'm not teaching, you can find me with my nose in a book, embroidering, traveling, or just hanging out with my friends. My 2 cats Paddington and Percy are a huge part of my life too! I believe my love for reading along with love for arts and crafts directly influence my teaching, where I'm always finding creative ways to make lessons engaging and fun for my students.

Hi! I'm an experienced teacher with 9 years of experience in primary schools, including 5 years as a certified teacher and prior to that 4 years as a teacher aide. I am a current new entrant teacher, however embroidery is a skill best taught for older primary, high school or adult learners. I have a small embroidery business (concealed information) where I take custom embroidery orders and also can run workshops teaching embroidery to beginners or embroidery learners at any stage. During a 1 hour class we would learn some skills to start an embroidery project that would be continued over several sessions. I have several kits we could work from, or I could help you create your own piece from a Pinterest inspiration picture. I have a Bachelor in Education (Primary), and a Structured Literacy credential from the University of Canterbury focusing on the "Better Start Literacy Approach". Tutoring sessions are available outside of school hours at my home in Onehunga, at your house, or we can connect through distance learning for convenience. I offer a first free meeting via Zoom or Google Meet to discuss any questions and then the first session is paid.
