About Paula
As a Biomedical Engineer with strong academic and research experience in Cell Biology, tissue engineering, and molecular biology, I bring both knowledge and practical insight to my lessons. I am passionate about teaching and committed to helping students not only understand the subject but also feel confident in applying their knowledge. My tutoring style is student-centered and adaptable. I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps, using visual aids, real-life biomedical examples, and interactive discussions to ensure deep understanding. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating. Each lesson typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, with time dedicated to reviewing previous material, introducing new concepts, and practicing through exercises or case-based problems. I also provide personalized study tips and strategies to support independent learning outside our sessions. My approach to tutoring focuses on making complex concepts in Cell Biology simple and engaging. I adapt my pace and teaching style to each student, whether they prefer structured lessons or a more flexible, discussion-based approach.
I hold a degree in Biomedical Engineering and have hands-on experience in cell culture, tissue engineering, and molecular biology, which allows me to bring a practical perspective into the lessons. I have also supported students at different levels with biology-related subjects, helping them gain confidence and achieve better results.
My lessons are designed for university students studying Cell Biology or related life sciences, though I also welcome motivated high school students preparing for advanced studies in biology.
