About Logan

Teaching guitar for the past 8 years has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’ve worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, guiding them through their musical journey and helping them find their voice on the guitar. I believe that everyone has a unique learning style, and I strive to create lessons that are both challenging and fun, making sure that students stay engaged and motivated. Whether students are learning the basics or honing advanced techniques, I make sure that they have the tools they need to succeed. One of the most rewarding moments in my career was helping a group of students form a band. Watching them perform together at local festivals was a milestone that marked their hard work, dedication, and growth. It was inspiring to see how music brought them together and helped them build their confidence, both as musicians and individuals. Learning the guitar isn’t just about technical skill—it’s about emotional growth, self-expression, and perseverance. Watching my students grow in these areas has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my job. I feel honored to be able to help my students navigate their musical journey, discover their potential, and experience the joy of creating music.

About the lesson

With a 8 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, I have a deep understanding of how to guide students through their unique musical journey. I start by focusing on the core fundamentals—posture, rhythm, hand positioning, and fretboard knowledge—so students can play their instrument comfortably and efficiently.

Once the basics are mastered, I customize lessons to match the student’s specific goals, whether they want to play their favorite songs, explore classical guitar, or experiment with contemporary genres. I also make sure that theory is an accessible part of the process, using real examples from the music they are learning to explain concepts like chord progressions, scales, and intervals.

For students interested in improvisation or composition, I provide structured exercises and creative prompts to help them develop their own voice. I support performance-focused students by helping them refine their technique, build confidence, and prepare for recitals or live performances. To ensure that students stay on track, I incorporate modern learning tools like metronomes and tuners, providing a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
