About JP
I have taught French for about 18 years in one-on-one settings and in small group classes. In all my years of experience, I taught over 400 students in high schools or adults working in international institutions (IMF, World Bank). Over the years, I have developed a teaching style based on result-oriented outcome, namely helping high school students achieve their academic goals (DELF and DALF exams). My work with young adults as well as professionals in various class settings was instrumental in helping develop a flexible and adaptable teaching style.

I cater my teaching method based on my student's needs and objectives and therefore the focus may be more on grammatical application through written and oral exercises. If the objective is to become conversant and use the language in every day settings, then the student will be immersed early on in situations where he/she will have to use the language orally. But typically and regardless of the student's background, my teaching technique usually involves oral practical discussion followed by the study and application of specific grammatical concepts.
