About Phoebe
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MPhys. My passion lies in guiding students through biophysics and the physics of living systems. I help learners understand molecular motors, membrane transport, nerve impulses, and biomechanics. Lessons are designed to make complex concepts clear, practical, and engaging. I work closely with biology students, pre-med students, and anyone interested in the physical underpinnings of life. I emphasize connecting theory with real-world biological phenomena to make learning relevant and exciting. My approach combines conceptual understanding with problem-solving, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. Students learn to analyze biological processes through the lens of physics, from cellular mechanisms to whole-organism dynamics. My teaching approach in Physics is gentle, reflective, and focused on practical scientific inquiry. I help students discover their unique approach to designing experiments and analyzing results.

I support DIY scientists and curiosity-driven learners in developing independent thinking and critical analysis. The focus is on nurturing both competence and curiosity.
