About Thomas
I have been a Schools Plus tutor for the past year. This involved going into schools and taking after school lessons with groups of between one and three pupils. This has allowed me to develop my skills in tutoring as not only do I have experience tutoring but all the while I was informally mentored by the teacher of the class and he has taught me things about my tutoring techniques which has really allowed me to develop my skills.

I am a current LSE student and Oxford graduate and I teach politics, philosophy and history at GCSE and a-level. I try and make sure that my tutoring is really personalized to the student. I try and focus on their weaknesses and teach them what they are doing wrong as well as to develop their strengths. My tutoring is not just designed to help the student pass the next exam but to help them develop their skill sets and abilities.
