About Francesca

I believe that my greatest value lies in my ability to never separate teaching from my passion for music and human relationships and interactions: it’s always an opportunity for me to learn more about the violin and the viola and their power to express human feelings and at the same time to teach the value of discipline and commitment. I take great pride in any kind of progress made by a student, I am attentive to their needs, I try to frame their weaknesses to make them more confident and highlight their abilities in order to achieve a goal together, whatever it may be. One of the things I enjoy the most about my job is that I often get to witness the birth of a new musician or music lover and I love it when a student feels happy, more confident with their technique and self-accomplished. I also try to involve the families of my younger students in their learning experience and progress so that they can feel valued and supported in their journey.

About the lesson

Having gained varied and fruitful teaching experience with more than fifty students (from all ages and levels) in Italy and Australia, I have the qualities and skills necessary to identify precisely each student's strengths and weaknesses. My teaching approach aims to solve all kinds of technical difficulties, but also to develop a strong understanding of musical styles and expression. I can guide beginners in their first steps in the music world, as well as help advanced students overcome more complex difficulties and blossom into better and more skilled violinists. My orchestral and chamber music experiences allow me to dive deep into the architecture of music and all its nuances from the technical aspects to the pure essence of music performance. The length of a lesson can vary depending on the student's needs and level, starting from 40'.

Perfect! I have really enjoyed my violin lessons with Francesca! She is an amazing teacher and is very patient and kind in her teaching. She was able to see my level of playing and develop practices and teaching around this very quickly - which was really impressive! In just a few lessons I have felt myself greatly improve. Extremely knowledgeable, approachable and determined to help her students, I feel very grateful and fortunate to have found such a wonderful teacher for the violin! She is an passionate teacher who is really committed to teach and hold you to your learning commitments. As someone who tried to self teach, I noticed a great difference in my playing after being in her tutelage. She was able to pinpoint my mistakes and correct them.
