About Shelby

I have worked in the emergency and intensive care settings and have gained a wealth of knowledge. I have worked with all ages including newborns to geriatric patients. I truly do not believe nursing school teaches you how to be a “nurse”. It takes specific coaching and one on one mentoring to truly understand what it means to be a nurse in a real life setting. And I am here to walk along the journey of becoming the best nurse for yourself and for your patients.

About the lesson

It’s that crazy time of year again where it’s time for NCLEX prep! I’ve been an NCLEX tutor for the last four years and have prepared many students successfully. I also teach any other nursing course! Reach out with any questions you might have! There truly is no such thing as a stupid question. I’m here to support you on your journey to becoming a RN.

I took the nclex four times and failed each time. It wasnt until I met Shelby that I started to understand how the nclex worked and how to start dissecting the questions. We worked three times a week for a month and I passed on the first try. I was so grateful! She’s kind and always on time. Great tutor and I recommend her to all my nursing friends.
