When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
I got into trading about 5 years ago. In the last 3 years, I've been building algorithms to automate trading. Tutoring started naturally when people asked me to explain things, I found out I really enjoy teaching.
Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I teach crypto and trading, especially how to build strategies and automate them. I love talking about market psychology and algorithm development. Legal stuff is important, but it's not my favorite.
Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
Yes, I had a mentor who kept things simple and focused on discipline. He helped shape how I trade and how I teach today.
What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
Patience, the ability to explain things clearly, and genuinely caring about your student's progress.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
One student with no coding experience built his first simple bot with me. A few weeks later, he made his first profit and was so excited. That moment was priceless.
What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
The crypto world changes fast, so you always need to keep learning. And building reliable algorithms takes a lot of testing and tweaking.
Do you have a particular passion?
Yes, building trading systems and helping others learn how to do it too. Teaching has become something I really enjoy.
