About Aria

I’m a guitar teacher with a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies and over 4 years of teaching experience. My focus is guiding students into advanced ear training techniques. We spend time transcribing solos so you can hear and play what great musicians create. I also teach how to identify chord progressions by ear, a vital skill for performance. Developing accurate pitch recognition is another focus of my lessons. These abilities help students feel more confident in any musical situation. I use both structured drills and creative projects to build skills. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I believe ear training is the key to true musical independence. My teaching is supportive and motivating, helping you progress steadily. Many of my students notice dramatic growth in their improvisation and playing. I’d love to help you reach the same level of confidence.

About the lesson

I teach guitar by making theory clear, simple, and playable. Lessons explore scales, modes, and how they connect across the neck. Chord construction is studied in depth, so you know why each shape works. Harmonic analysis helps you hear the flow of songs. This knowledge translates into better improvisation and composition. I make sure each exercise is linked to real playing. Students practise turning theory into riffs, progressions, and solos. My teaching suits both rock-oriented and classical-focused learners. I adapt methods to match each student’s style. Lessons are goal-driven but also interactive and fun. I encourage students to ask questions and experiment. Mistakes are welcomed as part of progress. Over time, you’ll see theory as a tool for freedom. My goal is to help you build confidence and creativity through applied knowledge.
